Direct Primary Care and Functional Medicine 

Patients may choose to see Dr. Tinker for Direct Primary Care or for Functional Medicine and are not required to do both. Patients may also choose to see Dr Tinker for Functional Medicine at a discounted price. Direct Primary Care services are offered as a monthly membership while Functional Medicine services are offered in a package format.

 

 

 

Direct Pay Care (DPC) is a membership-based approach that simplifies the complex and expensive billing processes associated with traditional insurance-based healthcare. DPC is not a form of health insurance; it is a healthcare service. We do not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, and it does not cover major medical events such as hospitalizations or surgeries. Patients are encouraged to have at least a high-deductible insurance plan or a healthcare-sharing plan for emergencies. DPC stands apart from the conventional primary care system, offering a unique and patient-centered experience.

With DPC, you pay a straightforward monthly membership fee, often comparable to the cost of your cell phone bill. Payments are simple and can be made with a credit card—no more dealing with endless insurance forms.
